The Jubo Recorder Survey
We at Jubo believe the recorder is a noble, sophisticated instrument with a repertory spanning seven centuries. But playing recorder is not as simple as it sounds. It requires more time and effort than a Jubo in order to receive the unique artistic benefits it offers. Our original intention of Jubo was to create an uncomplicated instrument which takes far less time to learn. Once Jubo I & II methods are completed, it provides an easy gateway to more challenging instruments.
We believe the recorder is the next step in that wider range and repertory.
Picking the right recorder is crucial to such success, so we provide the most extensive survey of plastic recorders ever conducted. There’s a lot of fine inexpensive recorders out there, but with a hard-to-try-out environment due to the pandemic, it can be a hit or miss experience; especially when shopping online. Recommendations and reviews on the internet can come from anyone who wants to put their two cents in, but trying out an instrument for yourself is a whole different experience.
Students and teachers can now have an informative database that facilitates choosing instruments which don’t hold them back, especially if one is new to the recorder.
If you’re a teacher and need to order instruments in large quantities, you want to be sure you’re getting the right kind.
If you’re an experienced amateur, which instrument can play specific repertories, or act as a durable practice instrument to spare your wood models and…
if you’re a pro, what’s the best instrument that handles environments from the recording studio to the concert hall?
